Sewerage systems |
A sewerage system, or wastewater collection system, is a network of pipes, pumping stations, and appurtenances that convey sewage from its points of origin to a point of treatment and disposal. All Sewerage systems use a combination of pipes (of different dimensions and materials), manholes, pumping facilities, monitoring systems, etc. Wastewater network planning and design requires to consider a wide range of uncertainty regarding future conditions, from aging infrastructure to population shifts to climate change. Using hydraulic modeling and wastewater GIS you can balance service priorities against risks and costs to mitigate against adverse environmental, public health, and economic impacts. Our design team uses advanced modeling tools to model and simulate the wastewater network (Sewer CAD, EPA SWMM, Optimatics, etc.) and provide an optimal solution for new networks, expanding systems, pipes rehabilitation projects, and more. |
